Pay attention to this post! I don’t want anyone being stuck at the gate because they were unaware of the closing dates. Here is what is going on…
There are two very large platforms in The Hangar. These platforms take up a lot of space and are next to useless to us. We cannot renovate or use these platforms in any way so we have consented that the church have them demolished. A company will be coming into the Hangar on June 13th to begin demolition. We have to prep the Skate Park by moving all the ramps near the platforms out so they can be demolished properly without damagingany of our ramps. This means the park will have to be closed a week before demolition to disassemble and move the ramps away from the platforms. The Hangar will also be closed a week after the demolition to put the park back in order. I’m so sorry for this inconvenience but it is going to greatly improve the park and give us even more space to work with!
We will meeting at the park to work on moving the ramps away within the next week so stay tuned on the website or facebook concerning workdays.
Thank You for taking an interest in the Hangar Skate Park and please try to make it out to the park on the workdays. The official closing dates of the park will be from: June 5th-June 24th!
The Hangar will close on the 5th and re-open on the 25th!
Also we have a thursday session tonight 5:30-8:30!
Thank you, management
Come hangout from 5:30 – 8:30… Free session awesome fellowship, good times!
This is a BIGGG week at the Hangar Skate Park. First of all we are having an awesome line up coming in on Friday night May 13th for a hardcore music show. The show will be featuring Embracing Goodbye, To speak of Wolves, Currents, XHonorX, and Labyrinthe. 10$ at the door for 5 great bands. The doors for the show will open at 6:00 and it will get started around 7:00. Also on Saturday in admission to our regular Saturday session 11-3 we will be having a JAM to raise money for the park that will go from 3-6. Anyone expecting to ride in the gym needs to be there around 1:00. The regular Saturday session will be 5$ but the admission for anyone who is riding in the JAM is 10$ at the door. There will be Stunts, Prizes, Give- Aways, Food, Beverages, and Raffles! Come support your local Skate Park!
I know that was a LOT to take in but there is more…
Next week on May 19th Hangar Thursdays or Testament sessions will begin and run all summer long. These are DEVOTIONS (just in case that wasn’t made clear in earlier posts) and admission is free. We also have food and drink available. Come out to the park and get another session in on Thursday evenings!
