How about this warm weather? I really hope it stays like this because for once in the past 5-6 mos I haven’t frozen my tail off in the park during a session. I just want to let everyone know whats up with Thursdays because everyone has been talking about it and asking me when they can get into the park more often. The first Thursday session will be next week March 3rd. If you read my last post you can kind of get an idea of how it will all go down. We’ll go from 5:30- 8:30 with the first hour being mostly hang out and discussion time. If you are not there for the hour prior to the free session you do NOT get into the free session. A free session is my way of saying thank you for coming and hearing me out, and if you’re not there I’m not going to thank you ha ha. I’m really excited about this and I’m looking forward to the summer when we can do this every week. Just a random status update: Right now the Hangar is doing great with attendance and bringing in new riders and skaters. The bank is building up and hopefully we can begin another building project in the summer. Btw I’m still working on getting those videos up!

January was an awesome month for the Hangar Skate Park. We were able to finish most of the BMX set up and started generating ideas for the skate set up. The park has come a long way and i must say it is 100% better than it was before. Still, after all the hours and money put into the park it is still missing a few key components. We are already planning for the building project that will complete the park. The attendance for both Saturday and Tuesday sessions has double which ensures that the building project will be a continuous endeavor because we are committed to keeping up maintenance and implementing improvements as often as possible.

I have some very good news to announce in this post… The Hangar will soon be opening its doors on Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30! This has been something that has been in the works for a while and I am happy to be able to give everyone another weekly session. Thursday sessions will be all about hanging out, there will be no admission fee but ALL participants will be involved in discussions that occur prior to the 2 hour session. There has NOT been a date set for when these sessions will begin.

I hope that brings everyone up to speed on where the Hangar Skate Park is and where it is going. If you have any questions or concerns please comment. These posts are designed to encourage feedback so i really want to hear what you guys think.
