So basically the building crew has been continuing to…well, build. The box jump is complete and stands a foot taller than before, it is also much stronger and smoother than before. The supports beneath the vert wall have been reconstructed and the surface has been redone anddddd the spine stands a foot taller as well and is just absolutely exceptional compared to the old one. In other news we’ve had half a skate park to work with all week. Usually less space means more ramps per sq ft and so wall rides and skate runs have emerged from the clutter and everyone seems to be having a good time. I can’t wait until this building is done, because it is going to be saweet! Also we had a hardcore show Friday night and the turnout was incredible. I want to thank all those who came out because God really put something cool together and i was just glad to be able to experience the sheer awesomenes should. That s wrap up most of the highlights of the week, if you have any more to add thennnnn COMMENT!
Thank you

First off Welcome to the new Hangar website! The site is now in a blog format so you are ENCOURAGED to comment!
The Hangar Skatepark of Denver, NC has been open for about 2 yrs now. In the past couple years the Hangar has never taken on a project of this magnitude. We have taken the resources and contacts God has blessed us with and after a lot of prayer and thought begun to build. On friday Dec. 10th Dellinger Building Supply delivered multiple pallets of lumber and the very next day Dec.11th a team of extreme athletes and engineers begun to build. On Saturday alone an 8ft tall 20 ft wide quarter was constructed and the ramps shifted downward to enable more building space. This will be an ongoing project to improve the quality of the Hangar Skatepark, and due to the building a section of the park has been temporarily closed off, but will reopen within the next few weeks. Feel free to approach any of these builders or any member of the Hangar staff with questions or suggestions, and you are also free to express your opinions on here. Check out the pics under media, there is much more to come so keep checking in to see what is going on! Thank you for support
